The distinctive dark blue-green kurogane-iro (literally “iron color”) hue, which iron takes on when heated, is achieved with a green DLC coating applied to titanium already treated with a deep-layer hardening process. Handcrafted by metalsmith KOBAYASHI Masao, the bezel is engraved with a spectacular design of a phoenix.
